Music Mambo-Week 55

1. Do you know any of your father's favorite music genre or favorite song?

Yeah, country... Vietnamese country music. Always drill me to sleep. LOL.

2. Would you go to a concert with your father? If so, what concert do you think you might attend that you both would enjoy?

Concert? Errr... Vietnamese country music. I'm not sure if there are any concerts for that. If there were any, I'd go only once just to please him, but then again, he's not the type of person who goes to concerts anyway. So, we'll do something different on Father's Day--like maybe eat out at a fancy restaurant.

3. Many musicians have followed in their musician father's footsteps -- can you name any? Does your music collection include material by a musical dad and their talented child or children?

My mind is drawing a blank for the first question... Nope for the second.

4. Whom would you say is the most famous dad in the music industry, whether they were entertainers or not.

You got me with this question. I have no idea. Besides, does the movie, Mrs. Doubtfire, fit in this category? LOL. It has some funny music with it, and Robin Williams is hilarious!

Hump-Week 65

1. Besides your blog, do you own anything with a smilie on it? If yes, what is it, where did you get it and does it get much use?

*scratches head* Err... Graduation helium balloons I threw away after moving to my new house (was from my relatives), bunny smiley stickers (I bought those at Target)... And I don't think I have used any of them as much! I stick them in my closet or in dark, neglected places or wherever it will accumulate dust! Hah!

2. Since it's Power of a Smile Day, if you were a super hero, what special power would your smile have? How about your laugh or maybe even your frown?

My smiles would be very therapeutic and would help that person not be so distressed. In fact, it'll help them decide and solve their own personal problems. My laugh would be contagious and make people want to hug and make-up. Cheesy, I know, but people in this world need to set aside their differences and just have an open mind when dealing with problems. My frowns will cut a deep slice through that person's conscience and give them guilt---because they need to realize and understand the truth.

3. Using the letters of the word S-M-I-L-E, tell us some things that make you smile your best, happiest, most powerful smiles.

S - sweets & surprises
M - movies (comedy!)
I - ice-cream!
L - love & when LIFE seems to be oh, so perfect!
E - every day hugs and kisses from a sweetie?

4. All day long, everywhere you go people are smiling at you. What the heck are they smiling at?

I don't know. My silliness? I'm used to people laughing at me, because I've done some things that are embarrassing. Other times, people are smiling at me, because I made them laugh or just smile. I like making other people's day.

(Hopefully, they're not laughing at me, because I have something in my teeth or my skirt is up, or toilet paper trails after my shoe like a nightmarish wedding dress. Thankfully, those things haven't happened yet!)

Hump-Week 64

Scoop #1. My ice-cream will contain fresh summer fruits (kiwi, orange, watermelon, cherries, strawberries, etc.), pecans, caramel sauce, and Oreo cookie crumbs in vanilla ice-cream. It's called "Creamy Heaven of Fruits." (I'm drooling already.)

Or... Maybe I should create an ice-cream sandwich that would have chocolate chips (and/or caramel chips) and caramel swirls (or maybe no swirls at all) in them, and it'll be called "Caramel Chip Sandwich."

Scoop #2. Today, I could probably use an extra scoop of being with friends and have more emails from them. I need more of the "keep in touch" scoop basically. I've been so busy for a really long time that I miss them so much. To my best friend, I'll give him/her a double scoop of hugs and laughter! Nah, I think I'd pretty much covered all of the double-scoopness for today. That's all I really need. *smiles*

Scoop #3. Things that you lick: ice cream, lollipop, lips. Things shaped like a cone: ice-cream cone, those bright orange cones they use to block the streets, party hats, bird beaks. Things that melt: ice-cream, wax, crayons, candles, when one is in love.
